2011 has been an excellent year, from hosting watch-parties, campaign rallies, several high-profile speakers, to participating in the College Democrats of America conference in Washington, D.C. and the Florida College Democrats Conference in Miami capitulating with us winning the Chapter of the Year award. The College Democrats at FSU are proud to be partners with VOICE, Volunteers Organizing and Initiating Change Everywhere. Please come by and attend educational forums at the LeRoy Collins Library on topics such as lobbying and voter registration.

I hope you’re all getting excited about this year, and the 2012 re-elect campaign that we have quickly approaching! Even though it may seem far away now, it will be here before we all know it, and we need to be FIRED UP! As you may have guessed by now, I’m your new FSU College Democrats President, and I’m ready to make this our most democratically productive year yet!
This year’s FCD Convention was held here at FSU between March 30th and April 1st! It was one of FCD’s best conventions yet, and we are proud to have represented Florida State University as students came from all around the state to attend. A big thank you to FCD for the opportunity to host as well as all the hard work from our chapter members and the FCD for making it such an amazing weekend!
As we have reached the end of the Spring semester, we wish all of our members and friends a wonderful summer vacation and will look forward to another great year beginning in the Fall!
